About

Grace Point Church was originally founded in 1947 as “Grace Trinity Church” and was located behind Fat Ivors.  Around 1992, we sold our building and acquired our current land, built our current building, and changed our name to Valley Baptist Church.  Our church struggled until about 2007 when we called our pastor to restart the church.  God has blessed us tremendously since then.  As we prepare to celebrate 70 years of ministering in Valley Center, we felt we should change our name to reflect who we are and to honor our long history in Valley Center.  To read more about our name Grace Trinity, click HERE to read letter from our pastor explaining the name of our church.

We are a friendly group of people who love God. Our desire is to teach the Bible in a relevant, fun, and practical way. We are simply a group of people whose lives have been touched with the love and grace of God.  We desire to connect you with His marvelous grace.  We will meet you where you are and hopefully help you grow in a meaningful relationship with God, through Jesus. We are people who struggle and hurt as we face the daily pressures of life—just like you.  We would love to have you join us as we seek, learn, and grow together in our spiritual walks with God.

Our church exists to minister to the real needs of people with the authentic love of Jesus Christ!
